It very important as a new mom to be as healthy as you can be. The first few months after leaving the hospital will be very busy with your little one(s). You may find yourself to be overwhelmed, tired and full of many emotions all at the same time. I always encourage my new moms not to lift anything heavier than their bundle of joy especially if you had Cesarean delivery. It very important to rest as much as possible as the past few days from the hospital may have left you sleep deprived. This can be facilitated by having family members or friends who will be there to help you. This may be difficult for some but its very important that you spend the first couple weeks resting and bonding with your baby. If you find yourself increasingly overwhelmed for more than 2 weeks after delivery you should speak to your doctor.
